Arcade top-down zombie shooter.
This is a demo of my indie game that I made all by myself. This experience helped me to understand the process of making games better. I've got my head around Unity and C #. I got acquainted with the level design.
Alien mutant beetles attack the city, as the result the inhabitants of the city turned into zombies.The protagonist gets the task to clear the skyscraper from the zombies floor by floor. There are not only walking dead on the way, but also some dangerous traps. In addition to destroying enemies with several types of weapons, you will have to run around the location in search of a key, test your reaction and act wisely.
Each weapon has its own pros and cons
Very efficient, but it takes time to recharge, which must be considered.
Very effective, but strikes at a short distance. Greatly simplifies going through the webs.
The least effective of all weapons. But no bullets are required - bang at your pleasure. It is also used for interacting with the environment.
The most effective, but the rarest. The best remedy against a crowd of zombies.
With this camera position (top-down), most of the time we see the floor surface. In order to achieve a pleasing visual impression and diversify the rooms I have developed many geometric patterns of the floor surface. Some of them were invented by me, some were borrowed. Due to the size of the pattern, the background doesn't draw too much attention and at the same time looks compelling.
